300 page error
Is an error message that may appear in your browser when the URL selection is not specific enough or the path is not accessible. You may receive a message prompting for “further action”, meaning you must direct the browser to a more specific URL than the one currently entered. This would be the case if for instance the URL was “www.isp.com/products/index.html”. If in this case the 300 error appears, the URL is either not accessible on your server under any condition, or you need to add on to the address to direct it to a more specific page within that directory. If the error appears and the URL you have entered is something like “www.isp.com”, then it is more likely the issue is in the software or on the server and you should contact your administrator or the programs tech support (i.e. BlueHost).
