Website typography

You should be aware that text submitted on your website as a graphic will not be read by a search engine and will therefore not help your site’s rating. If the text is not a graphic, it is best to select a common font, because a font that is not installed on a viewer's computer will not display on your site the way you intended. Common font selections are Arial or Times New Roman. Controlling the spacing, content and context also aid in the legibility of your text. The most important thing to remember: Above all else, people need to be able to read what you write on your website.
