Domain propagation

: In brief is the process of changes made to your domain being transferred throughout the internet. Your registrar hands off the changes to your domain to root DNS servers, ISPs acquire records from the root servers and pass them off to other ISPs ISPs until the changes are reflected on your computer. The time it takes for changes to propagate will depend on how often your ISP updates its DNS records.
